Been on holiday for quite some time now, spent my time mostly bumming at home and gaming and sports and movies and more time wasting stuffs. Didn update blog much cuz well, my creative mind is bumming alongside me =)
My cousin asked if i was interested to work at an family day/carnival-ish event and this post will somewhat reveal the inside stuff of running them game stations and what nots. If you guys have ever been to "fun fairs" or theme parks you might have seen some of these games before.
Here are some pictures of the station games available..
This one is pretty common i guess, score a goal by kicking the ball into the hole and you win yourself something.
This one is almost entirely based on luck, let the ball roll down and if it enters the colored compartment, you win =)
Another common game, throw hoops onto them bottles to win.
This one is pretty tricky although looks simple, one has to steer the ball along the "track" into a hole at the end of it.
Another classic game, one has to maneuver a ring attached to a rod along the track without the edge of the ring touching the "metal track" where a buzzer goes off if it does. One gets to rest between "pit stops" along the track.
And for the kids we have these inflatable "playground thingies"
These inflatables are a serious pain in the rear to set up as they are freggin heavy. Here is an example of how one is set up..
step 1: Roll/carry the bugger (depending on the size of it) to the location
step 2: Unwrap and untie the inflatable
step 3: Roll out the inflatable and adjust its placement. Its no easy task cuz as I mentioned these things are heavy and really demands some strength to handle it.
step 4: Ensure the zippers are closed, attach the blow fan n start blowing up the inflatable
step 5: One you're done setting up and waitin for the event to start, chill out with the rest of the crew =)
There was this extremely cute and super duper ultra epic adorable lil girl who tried to play some of the games. She caught the attention of quite a number of people around there. I mean, just look at her...
Heh, well that ends it =)
On an unrelated note i took this picture quite recently
just check out the amount of stuff stuck on the back window.
I took the picture at a red light, so I wasn breakin any laws or endangering others =) But, this is a novelty =P
